As part of our commitment to ensuring a seamless experience, we outsource setting and assembly services to third-party professionals. While we take every precaution to ensure the competence and professionalism of these workers, we must emphasize that any damage or loss incurred during the setting and assembly process is the sole responsibility of the outsourced workers.
By engaging our online furniture shop's setting and assembly services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Independent Contractors: The workers involved in the setting and assembly services are independent contractors and not employees of HomeCozify. As such, any liability arising from their actions or omissions rests solely with them.
- Pre-Inspection: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the designated area for furniture setup and assembly is free from any obstacles or hazards that may cause damage. The customer should also inspect the furniture upon completion to identify any pre-existing damage or defects.
- Reporting Damages: In the event that damage occurs during the setting and assembly process, the customer must report it to our customer service team within same day of the service completion. Failure to report damages within this timeframe may result in the waiver of liability.
- Limited Liability: HomeCozify will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the actions or omissions of the outsourced workers. Our liability, if any, is limited to the cost of the furniture purchased.
- Insurance: HomeCozify maintains appropriate liability insurance coverage for our operations. However, this insurance may not extend to damages caused by third-party workers. Customers are encouraged to seek their own insurance coverage to protect their property.
By proceeding with the setting and assembly services offered by HomeCozify, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer, and agree to release HomeCozify from any liability for damages, losses, or injuries resulting from the outsourced workers' actions or omissions.
