#6 - Add Color to Elevate
Last week, we explored how layering furniture can add warmth and personality. This week, let’s talk about using color accents to bring your small space to life.
A pop of color in a pillow, throw, or rug can instantly elevate your neutral furniture. Think rich jewel tones like emerald or sapphire, or soft pastels like blush or sage, to create a cozy, sophisticated atmosphere.
Don’t be afraid to mix and match! If your sofa and main furniture pieces are neutral, use accessories in different hues to add depth and character. Small decor pieces — vases, candles, or artwork — can make a big impact without overwhelming your space.
The key is balance. Let color be an accent, not the focus. This way, you create an inviting, harmonious look that feels intentional and unique.
Stay tuned for next week’s post where we’ll share tips on lighting for small spaces!
